A great read on this whole Crowes reunion cash grab! Wonder if the Crowes will return to this ‘BumF**k’ town as Rich said about Tbay back in 93! Click the link below …
On November 11th, 2019, Chris and Rich Robinson announced that the Black Crowes would be reuniting to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album Shake Your Moneymaker. This is probably very exciting news to the fans of the Black Crowes’ more commercial releases of such hits as “Twice As Hard,” “Hard to Handle,” and…

Tom Morwood would disagree that Magpie Salute plays the songs “badly”. He’s seen ’em a bunch of times and prefers them to this!

Never listened to M.S so I’m not sure but this whole reunion thing is a hoot and will be interesting to see how many tix these guys can sell. 6 years is not a long time to be away.

I couldn’t be less excited. No Gorman = no feel! Plus they’re playing an album I don’t care about.

Keith Richards called an NZ town “the arsehole of the world” in 1966.

When the band called it quits they played clubs and theatres. And now they reckon they will out the arenas. Maybe they will as they have become streaming stars, but as the GSBF mentioned, the Crowes was a band. And it’s not now.

Agreed. I mean I’m sure they will cut out the jams at first and play the tunes straight off the record but I’m sure they will revert back to there jam band status

That post is spot on. I know I said it elsewhere (or maybe I didn’t), but they can fuck off.
Remember when they did that whole Brothers of a Feather thing? That’s all this is… plus a bunch of hired hands (including Isaiah Mitchell, who I reckon is one of the best guitarists out there, but I still wouldn’t pay to go see this).
Black Crowes. Pah.

Yeah pretty crappy to shaft the rest of the guys even though they didn’t write the tunes but still gave those tunes grrove and swing.
You can’t repeat it.
Watcedh the clips from NYC last night. Rich looks bored out of his noggin already hahaha

I’ll be surprised if they see out the whole tour without someone calling it a day.

The brothers might see it through, but I can imagine one or more of those guys will have to be replaced.

Not interested and without the other members, who cares. I can’t see how they sell arenas either, crazy. it will be interesting to see how it goes and how long it actually can last.
